Fruits Basket is my favorite series because when I watched it, I found many inspirational truths in it that made me tingle! People may think I'm weird, but I'd like to discuss the messages the series holds.
By the way, does any one know about rumors of making a second season to the anime?
Lets start off with the Plum on the back of the Rice Ball story! Not only is it funny how Kyo gives Tohru a compliment then tries to take it back by saying that the plum is really REALLY tiny, but it also makes me wonder what hidden qualities that I don't see in myself. Something obvious to everyone else that I have yet to notice. (Like how both Yuki and Kyo are envious of each other for the same reason, not realizing they have the qualities the envy in the other).

Ok, well I did watch the series, err season? not sure which it is, I've seen all the episodes they've come out with here, unfortunately I can't think of any themes off the top of my head except for being comfortable with yourself (kyo), and how other ppl percieve you can actually affect you.

When you say peoples perception effect you, do you mean mean with how Kyo and Yuki are jealous of each other for the same reasons or is there another example where you saw this take effect?
